American Investor, Paul Mampilly’s newsletter, Profits Unlimited, has reached a record number of readers. With 60,000 subscribers, it’s now recognized as an investment tool. The newsletter helps investors find lucrative stock opportunities. Mampilly uses his experience as former hedge fund manager to provide guidance for profitable portfolio creation. In addition, when Banyan Hill Publishing approached him about writing the newsletter, a website was also a part of the deal. On the website, Paul Mampilly routinely lists stock picks and offers online portfolio tracking.
It is now a well known investment guide in the form of a monthly eight page newsletter. He follows up with weekly updates about how the stocks that he picked are performing. Instead of acting as an investment broker, subscribers purchase the stocks using their own personally managed brokerage accounts. Launched in June 2016, the newsletter has a successful record of profitable picks. Of the 13 recommended stocks, 11 of these are posting gains.
Paul Mampilly got his start in the investment industry with a position as a money manager on Wall Street. He built a solid reputation in the industry with other career positions, including working as an expert financial analysis for ING, Deutsche Asset Management, Bankers Trust and Royal Bank of Scotland. Mampilly managed the $25 billion hedge fund, Kinetics International Fund. During the time from 2009 to 2010, the Fund posted returns of 67 percent; well above average, as it outperformed other funds in the same category by 20 percent.
When asked about his perspective on picking stocks, Paul Mampilly said this, “I will help you find the next Google, Pfizer and Amazon so you can make massive gains.” Mampilly is also the founder of The Sovereign Investor Daily, a weekly column. In the column he shares insight about the industry and directs investors to high performing stocks. However many newsletters he authors, Mampilly has a main directive, to help average Americans find wealth by picking growth stocks.
